Are mermaids real? A real live mermaid was caught on camera swimming in the water. She is a professional mermaid cosplayer who happened to be out for a dip one sunny September day in Grand Traverse Bay, Michigan. Her MerNation silicone mermaid tail looks very realistic in the water and flows so nicely when she swims around in the glistening water. While it certainly wasn't the warmest day to go mermaiding, it sure was a great deal of fun! Be expecting more mermaid videos in the future... and TONS once the weather warms up a bit!
